Home again!
We (Mitch Geriminsky and I) got back to Jamestown, New Mexico around 5:00 yesterday afternoon. We got into Albuquerque Sunport around 11:30, but I had one task to do before leaving town. Tires for The Beast.
A tire had a nail in it and since it was one of the original tires that came with The Beast, the tire shop could not repair it due to the low tread. So, I ended up getting four new tires and moved the front tires I bought in St. Louis, Missouri to the rear dualies on the inside. The new tires went on the front and the outside of the rear wheels. I would have gotten new tires either later this year or next (experts say to change tires every seven years on motorhomes), so this is just a little early.
After that was done, we headed out on the road.
We had strong crosswinds during the drive, but even with that the RV drove more stable.
Mitch will be heading back to Lake Havasu today.
Sierra was very happy to have Dad back home.
