Winter Storm To Hit New Mexico and Texas

It appears that a winter storm is going to hit New Mexico, just when I am to head out to the Albuquerque Sunport for a flight to Dallas, Texas for a little mini-vacation.

It looks like the storm is mainly going to hit in the eastern portion of the state and Jamestown will not get the brunt of it. However, the storm will be hitting Texas and Dallas may be getting some snow.

According to the National Weather Service for Jamestown:

Today
A 30 percent chance of snow, mainly between 2pm and 5pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 39. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming northwest 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Tonight
A 20 percent chance of snow before 8pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 11. North wind 5 to 10 mph.
Sunday
Sunny, with a high near 38. Calm wind becoming north around 5 mph in the afternoon.

Then, there's the weather forecast for the Albuquerque Sunport:

Today
A chance of rain between 2pm and 5pm, then snow likely, possibly mixed with rain. Increasing clouds, with a high near 45. Northeast wind 5 to 10 mph increasing to 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 60%. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Tonight
Snow likely, mainly before 8pm. Cloudy during the early evening, then gradual clearing, with a low around 26. East wind 15 to 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
Sunday
Mostly sunny, with a high near 39. Northeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming south in the afternoon.

And in Dallas/Fort Worth: 

Today
Mostly sunny, with a high near 50. Calm wind becoming east around 5 mph in the morning.
Tonight
Increasing clouds, with a low around 35. Northeast wind around 5 mph.
Sunday
Snow. High near 39. North wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%.
Sunday Night
A 40 percent chance of snow before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 32. North wind 5 to 10 mph.
Monday
Mostly sunny, with a high near 47. North northwest wind around 5 mph.
