Colder Nights

Above, the Jeep in Six Mile Canyon yesterday. Photo by Armand Vaquer.

Yep, it is feeling more like autumn, even though officially that won't happen for another couple of weeks or so.

But, it is becoming evident that autumn is not far away as the nighttime temperatures are going into the 40s.

My phone's The Weather Channel app says it is 43° outside. Whereas, the National Weather Service says it's 42°. Take your pick, I suppose.

Some of the locals are already stocking up on pellets for their pellet heaters.

It looks like I'll be bringing in the jade plant indoors soon.

According to the National Weather Service:

Today
Sunny, with a high near 82. South wind 5 to 10 mph becoming west in the afternoon.
Tonight
Partly cloudy, with a low around 53. West wind around 5 mph becoming southeast in the evening.
Saturday
A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Mostly sunny, with a high near 79. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph in the afternoon.
Saturday Night
A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 54. South wind 5 to 10 mph.
