The National Weather Service posted this on their home page:
Monsoon moisture will result in locally heavy showers and thunderstorms over the Four Corners region, which could lead to flash flooding.
Well, that's pretty much where I'm at. It seems that it rained here overnight. I heard it coming down when I went to bed last night. I actually went to bed a little early (around 9:30) following "Country Music" a film by Ken Burns on PBS. (Part one, last night, was very interesting. I had no idea that the banjo originated in Africa.)
The rains are certainly welcome after a relatively dry August.
