Parents of 2 Benghazi Victims Suing Hillary Clinton For Wrongful Death, Defamation

Hillary Clinton just may be held accountable for her role in the Benghazi attacks after all!

Fox News reported
The parents of two of the four Americans who died in the Benghazi attack in 2012 filed a lawsuit Monday against Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, alleging her "reckless handling" of classified information contributed to their deaths.
The case was filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia by Larry Klayman of Freedom Watch USA on behalf of Patricia Smith, the mother of Sean Smith, and Charles Woods, the father of Tyrone Woods, for allegedly wrongfully causing the death of their sons as well as for defamation and intentional and negligent infliction of emotional distress.
The lawsuit suggests that Clinton's use of a private email server contributed to the deaths of Smith and Woods, adding that terrorists were able to "obtain the whereabouts of Ambassador Christopher Stevens and thus the U.S. State Department and covert and other government operations in Benghazi, Libya and subsequently orchestrate, plan, and execute the now infamous September 11, 2012 attack."

Obama Now Has A Third Scandal

It seems like 1973 all over again when the Watergate scandal broke and the Nixon Administration circled the wagons.

The Obama Administration is now embroiled in a new scandal.  It is number three on the "Scandal Hit Parade."

From Fox News:

The Justice Department secretly obtained two months of telephone records of reporters and editors for The Associated Press in what the news cooperative's top executive called a "massive and unprecedented intrusion" into how news organizations gather the news.
This, plus the Benghazi-gate and the Internal Revenue Service targeting conservative group scandals have shown what a lawless administration this is that being run by moronic and incompetent totalitarians.  The Administration lied and covered up the truth behind the Islamic attacks in Benghazi that led to the deaths of the ambassador to Libya and others and the IRS violated the first amendment rights of conservative organizations and the law with their illegal probing.  You can't tell me some low-level IRS employees were solely involved in this.  Someone high up in the chain of command had to have signed off on it.

As for the new Associated Press scandal, it is high time Attorney General Eric Holder vacated his office.

It is time for Congress to step up and thoroughly investigate and prosecute.

Washington Post and Wall St. Journal Blast Obama Over Benghazi

The Weekly Standard has an article on the editorials of the Washington Post and The Wall Street Journal  blasting the Obama Administration over the botched handling of the Benghazi attack on September 11, 2012 and the continuing unanswered questions.

They wrote:

The Post notes that what happened in Benghazi “increasingly looks like a major security failure” and argues, “sooner or later the administration must answer questions” about that failure and “the policies that led to it.”
The Journal argues that the Obama administration has sought to avoid accountability by offering “evasive, inconsistent and conflicting accounts about one of the most serious American overseas defeats in recent years.” The editorial continues: “Unresolved questions about Benghazi loom over this election because the White House has failed to resolve them.”
Among those unanswered questions: “Why did the U.S. not heed warnings about a growing Islamist presence in Benghazi and better protect the diplomatic mission and CIA annex?” And: “What exactly happened on the day of 9/11? During the over six hours that the compounds in Benghazi were under siege, could the U.S. have done more to save lives?” And: “What was President Obama doing and ordering his subordinates to do in those fateful hours? Why has the Administration's story about what took place in Benghazi been so haphazard and unclear?”
These questions, and many others, need answers. The administration has managed to avoid providing them for nearly eight weeks, with a much needed assist from a suddenly lack of curiosity among the truth-seeking journalists at many of America’s most influential news outlets. Perhaps after the election that curiosity will return.

This alone is enough for voters to deny a second term for Barack Obama.

Classified Cable Tells of Emergency Meeting In Benghazi One Month Before Attack

The Obama Administration's claim that the 9/11 attack on the Benghazi consulate came "without warning," an emergency meeting conducted a month before undercuts those claims.

The key passages by Catherine Herridge in Greta Van Susteren's website at Fox News include:

The U.S. Mission in Benghazi convened an “emergency meeting” less than a month before the assault that killed Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans, because Al Qaeda had training camps in Benghazi and the consulate could not defend against a “coordinated attack,” according to a classified cable reviewed by Fox News.
Summarizing an Aug. 15 emergency meeting convened by the U.S. Mission in Benghazi, the Aug. 16 cable marked “SECRET” said that the State Department’s senior security officer, also known as the RSO, did not believe the consulate could be protected.
According to a review of the cable addressed to the Office of the Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the Emergency Action Committee was also briefed “on the location of approximately ten Islamist militias and AQ training camps within Benghazi … these groups ran the spectrum from Islamist militias, such as the QRF Brigade and Ansar al-Sharia, to ‘Takfirist thugs.’” Each U.S. mission has a so-called Emergency Action Committee that is responsible for security measures and emergency planning.
While the administration’s public statements have suggested that the attack came without warning, the Aug. 16 cable seems to undercut those claims. It was a direct warning to the State Department that the Benghazi consulate was vulnerable to attack, that it could not be defended and that the presence of anti-U.S. militias and Al Qaeda was well-known to the U.S. intelligence community.

Despite the above, the Obama Administration did nothing to beef up security for the consulate in Benghazi, especially for the anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack.  Heightened security and alerts for all consulates in the Middle East should have been automatically done.

Revenge of the Clintons: Hillary Throws Obama Under The Bus

The cover-up of the tragedy in Benghazi is unraveling even further.

It has been revealed that Secretary Hillary Clinton requested more security for the consulate in Benghazi, but it was turned down by President Obama.

Fox Nation reports:

Last night, it was revealed that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton had ordered more security at the U.S. mission in Benghazi before it was attacked where four Americans, including U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens were murdered by Al-Qaeda but President Obama denied the request.
Former President Bill Clinton has been urging his wife to release State Department documents to prove she requested additional security.  He wants Hillary to run for president in 2016, but if Obama hangs this scandal around her neck, it would thwart those efforts.  Bill wants to make sure that people know his wife is blameless.

Obama Doesn't Deserve Re-election, He Deserves To Be Removed From Office

Emails obtained by Fox News and other news outlets show that the Obama Administration had the information showing that the attacks on the Benghazi consulate were terrorist-related (with no protest over a video involved) and with the identity of the group claiming responsibility within 2 hours but did nothing about it.  The attack was about five (5) hours long.

There are only two possibilities here.

1.  Incompetence.  Either Obama wasn't given the full information or was told but did nothing.

2.  Lies.  Obama knew and lied to the American people for five days and blamed a protest over a YouTube video for political purposes.

In either case, he does not deserve re-election.  He deserves to be removed from office.

More Evidence That Obama Administration Lied About Benghazi

New documents show that it was determined by the CIA in Benghazi knew within 24 hours that the attack on the embassy was by militants and not from any protest of an anti-Islam video.

According to MyWay.com:

WASHINGTON (AP) - The CIA station chief in Libya reported to Washington within 24 hours of last month's deadly attack on the U.S. Consulate that there was evidence it was carried out by militants, not a spontaneous mob upset about an American-made video ridiculing Islam's Prophet Muhammad, U.S. officials have told The Associated Press.

It is unclear who, if anyone, saw the cable outside the CIA at that point and how high up in the agency the information went. The Obama administration maintained publicly for a week that the attack on the diplomatic mission in Benghazi that killed U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans was a result of the mobs that staged less-deadly protests across the Muslim world around the 11th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks on the U.S.

The Obama Administration knew (as the CIA and State Department are under the executive branch) the real cause of the attack, yet lied to the public that it was over an anti-Islam YouTube video.

Plus, requests were made by the consulate for additional security but were turned down by the State Department.

Benghazi-gate Cover-up

The Obama Administration has not been forthcoming with the truth on the attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya which resulted in the murder of  U.S. Ambassador John Christopher Stevens and three security personnel.

For weeks, the Obama Administration has been blaming the attack on a dumb YouTube anti-Islam video.  They claimed that it was "spontaneous" so that their glaring failure to beef up security at our embassies on September 11.

Fox News reports:

Fresh claims that U.S. intelligence officials knew practically from the start that the attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi was terrorism possibly tied to Al Qaeda have lawmakers alleging they were misled and questioning whether the administration has something to hide.

"This is turning into something not short of Benghazi-gate," Sen. Bob Corker, R-Tenn., told Fox News, adding he's "very suspicious" about the way the administration has handled this.

Two senior U.S. officials told Fox News on Thursday that U.S. intelligence officials knew within 24 hours of the assault that it was a terrorist attack and suspected Al Qaeda-tied elements were involved.

The account sharply conflicted with claims by U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice on the Sunday after the attack that the administration believed the strike was a "spontaneous" event triggered by protests in Egypt over an anti-Islam film.
The story was fishy from the start.  First, it was claimed that protesters got out of hand and attacked the "safe house" the ambasssador was at.  Since when do "protesters" bring rocket launchers to a protest?  Then, it was claimed that the protest was "spontaneous" over an amateur video attacking Islam.  But the video has been on YouTube since July.  They just decided to "protest" on the 11th anniversary of the attacks in New York and the Pentagon?  Not likely.

To be blunt, Obama and Susan Rice lied!

The Administration dropped the ball in not heightening security at our embassies for the anniversary of 9/11.  Obama is more interested in the election campaign than doing his job.  It is obvious that Obama and his administration are engaged in a cover-up!

Obama wanted this to be a spontaneous incident, but the facts show that his foreign policy of appeasement is a failure.

Anybody who votes to re-elect Obama would have to be a total idiot!

German Paper: "Obama's Middle East Policy In Ruins"

While the U.S. Obama lapdog media focused on Mitt Romney's alleged gaffe (he said nothing wrong and had every right to say it), the international media has their focus on the failure of Obama's Middle East policies.

The Washington Free Beacon posted a snippet from the German newspaper Der Spiegel:

“US President Barack Obama’s Middle East policy is in ruins. Like no president before him, he tried to win over the Arab world. After some initial hesitation, he came out clearly on the side of the democratic revolutions. … In this context, he must accept the fact that he has snubbed old close allies such as Israel, Saudi Arabia and the Egyptian military. And now parts of the freed societies are turning against the country which helped bring them into being. Anti-Americanism in the Arab world has even increased to levels greater than in the Bush era. It’s a bitter outcome for Obama.”

Michelle Malkin Shreds Obama Administration Response To Murder of Ambassador Stevens

Ambassador John Christopher Stevens's blood is on Obama's hands!

News From TravelPulse.com

There's a couple of items that caught my attention when I read TravelPulse.com's newsletter:

Tour operators are keeping a close watch on unfolding events after attacks on U.S. embassies took place Tuesday in both Libya and Egypt. American intelligence looked for links between the attacks, but from the standpoint of tourism, the two were very different.
In Libya, attacks on the U.S. Embassy in Benghazi led to the killings of four American diplomats. The killings took place in the aftermath of a harsh war in which the U.S. was a major participant. Only a few American tour programs have been offered to Libya in the last decade, and those were offered at rare moments when relations between the U.S. and Libya seemed to be warming. But those periods were all short-lived and were soon interrupted by diplomatic tensions of one sort or another.
Egypt, on the other hand, is historically one of the all-time favorite destinations of American tourists, and as a result a favorite market for tour operators. Egypt’s economy is acutely dependent on tourism. The country recently endured a tourism drought of a year and a half following the Arab Spring uprising and the pro-democracy demonstrations that led to an overthrow of the government and the establishment of a new democratically chosen government.

With the earthquake of March 2011 behind it, Japan should be welcoming a healthy surge in tourists from the United States, but a strong yen has made Japan a destination limited to American business travelers and high-end luxury travelers. At the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO), they prefer dealing with the old and familiar problem of a super currency to that of natural disasters. “Our biggest concern now is an old concern -- the price of the yen,” said Yuki Yamagishi, director of the JNTO’s New York Office,

Libya and Egypt: Jimmy Carter All Over Again

The attacks on the embassies in Egypt and Libya on the eleventh anniversary of 9/11 is a sad reminder that there are people out there who hate Americans.  They are egged on by the weak leadership out of Washington whose embassy in Cairo issued a mealy-mouthed statement reeking of appeasement.

The Obama Administration and their toadies in the MSM are trying to deflect this into a smear on Mitt Romney.  That dog won't hunt, especially once all the details come out.  And they WILL come out!

According to Rush Limbaugh, who went through the timeline of the Cairo statement apologizing for a film, through the killing of our ambassador in Libya (yes, I know Libtards will dismiss Rush, but the truth is the truth, nonetheless):

Tell the Democrats that during the war in Iraq. Politics ends at the water's edge? Except, see, that's not what happened. Cairo puts out this statement that I just read to you, and once the media gets hold of that and starts reporting it, somebody has to speak up. It is outrageous. It's disgraceful. It's exactly what Romney said. So, to review: On 9/11, our embassy is attacked. A press release is issued before the attack apologizing for a private citizen exercising his free speech in our own country.
After the embassy is attacked, the State Department spokeswoman essentially endorsed the earlier release but they disavowed it first. They said it stands. Actually what happened was Embassy Cairo issues that statement; Washington disavows it. Embassy Cairo tweets: No, it still stands. (The operative part of our statement being about embarrassed over what Americans are doing to hurt the feelings of Muslims, that still stands.) Throughout all of yesterday and last night -- throughout all of it -- Obama has said nothing.

Until about eleven o'clock this morning.

While the MSM is spending its time trying to smear Romney, they are avoiding the obvious questions:

Why weren't the Marines at the embassy in Libya?   (According to reports, there were NO Marines stationed there.)

Why weren't the embassies on heightened alert on the anniversary of 9/11?

How did the mob find out where Ambassador Stevens was located?  Who tipped them off?

Rush raised this as well:

They were able to get to the flag, rip it down, try to set it on fire, and raise the Al-Qaeda flag. That just doesn't happen. Now, if you move over to Libya, when that happens, there is a procedure in place to transfer the ambassador and his high-level aides to a different location for his safety and security, which happened. CBS (no less than CBS) is reporting the following. Brace yourselves. "Libyan officials moved our ambassador to a secure location and then told the mob where they took him," and that's how the mob knew where he was.
That's how the mob knew where to go to kill our ambassador, because the Libyan officials who moved him to the secure place (according to CBS), then told the mob where he was. Then to add insult to injury, we have to listen this morning -- honest to God folks -- to Mrs. Clinton and Obama praise the Libyans for trying to save our ambassador. These pictures that you've seen with the ambassador upside-down, half naked, being carried over somebody's shoulder?

Ambassador Stevens's body wasn't found until twelve hours later according to reports.

This is a massive foreign policy failure of the Obama Administration.  Two embassies are attacked.  American diplomats are killed, including the U.S. ambassador to Libya.  Yet Obama feels he can go to  Las Vegas to campaign.  He is a disgrace!

This is Jimmy Carter all over again.

U.S. Ambassador John Christopher Stevens To Libya Killed

Unbelievable!

The Washington Post reported:

Libyan officials say U.S. Ambassador John Christopher Stevens was killed in an attack Tuesday at the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, the Associated Press reports.
Three others besides the Ambassador were also killed.

And, the Administration's response was "sorry you were offended."  Unbelievable!

Gaddafi Dead

Above, the alleged death photo of ex-Libyan dictator Gaddafi.

According to Reuters:

SIRTE, Libya (Reuters) - Disturbing images of a blood-stained and shaken Muammar Gaddafi being dragged around by angry fighters quickly circulated around the world after the Libyan dictator's dramatic death near his home town of Sirte.

The exact circumstances of his demise are still unclear with conflicting accounts of his death emerging. But the footage, possibly of the last chaotic moments of Gaddafi's life, offered some clues into what happened.

Gaddafi was still alive when he was captured near Sirte. In the video, filmed by a bystander in the crowd and later aired on television, Gaddafi is shown being dragged off a vehicle's bonnet and pulled to the ground by his hair.

He is said to have been beaten and shot in the head, according to reports.

The question for today is: Where's the bin Laden death photos?

Obama Signs Secret Order Aiding Libyan Rebels; al-Qaeda Involved?

President Obama signed a secret order supporting rebels in Libya. The problem is, there may be elements of al-Qaeda involved with the rebels. We are supposed to be at war with al-Qaeda for the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and The Pentagon on September 11, 2001.

Left, an al-Qaeda commander urged Libyans to overthrow Col. Moammar Gadhafi’s regime and establish Islamic rule.

According to a Reuters story posted at the Huffington Post:

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Barack Obama has signed a secret order authorizing covert U.S. government support for rebel forces seeking to oust Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, government officials told Reuters on Wednesday.

Obama signed the order, known as a presidential "finding", within the last two or three weeks, according to four U.S. government sources familiar with the matter.

Such findings are a principal form of presidential directive used to authorize secret operations by the Central Intelligence Agency. The CIA and the White House declined immediate comment.

The rebels may have been infiltrated by al-Qaeda according to the United Kingdom's Telegraph:

Libyan rebel forces may have been infiltrated by al-Qaeda fighters, a senior American military commander has warned.

Admiral James Stavridis, Nato's Supreme Allied Commander, Europe, said that American intelligence had picked up "flickers" of terrorist activity among the rebel groups. Senior British government figures described the comment as "very alarming".

The admission came as the American, Qatari and British Governments indicated that they were considering arming rebel groups, who yesterday suffered a series of setbacks in their advance along the Libyan coast towards Tripoli.

And, from the Christian Science Monitor:

Since Libya’s popular uprising began in mid-February, Col. Muammar Qaddafi has repeatedly declared that this rebellion is different: He is not facing pro-democracy activists who want to end his four decades in power, but Al Qaeda militants determined to make Libya a base for global jihad.

“This is the Al Qaeda that the whole world is fighting,” warned the Libyan leader, who demands that the Western-led alliance help him fight a common enemy instead of decimating his military apparatus.

While most experts agree that Qaddafi is grossly exaggerating the Al Qaeda threat to discredit his opposition, eastern Libya has had a history of Islamic militancy. Documents captured by the US military from Al Qaeda in Iraq show that eastern Libya – and especially the city of Derna – provided per capita far more foreign fighters in Iraq from August 2006 to August 2007 than anywhere else in the world.

If al-Qaeda is a part of the rebels in Libya, and if we arm them with advanced weapons, those weapons can be used against us.

Before we dig ourselves deeper in this Libya matter, we need to know who the rebels are, who finances them and whether there are elements of al-Qaeda within the rebel organization.

Statement From House Speaker John Boehner

From Houuse Speaker John Boehner's website:

WASHINGTON, DC (Mar 20)
House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) issued the following statement on the situation in Libya:

“The United States has a moral obligation to stand with those who seek freedom from oppression and self-government for their people. It’s unacceptable and outrageous for Qadhafi to attack his own people, and the violence must stop.

“The President is the commander-in-chief, but the Administration has a responsibility to define for the American people, the Congress, and our troops what the mission in Libya is, better explain what America’s role is in achieving that mission, and make clear how it will be accomplished. Before any further military commitments are made, the Administration must do a better job of communicating to the American people and to Congress about our mission in Libya and how it will be achieved.”

Authorization from the Congress would also be a big help, since we weren't attacked. President Bush obtained authorization from the Congress before we went into Afghanistan and Iraq.

Meanwhile, a group of hard-core liberal Democrat House members are also raising a stink over Obama's actions in Libya:

Source: Politico

A hard-core group of liberal House Democrats is questioning the constitutionality of U.S. missile strikes against Libya, with one lawmaker raising the prospect of impeachment during a Democratic Caucus conference call on Saturday.
