Barking Spider Acre

This morning, I took a little walk over to the Barking Spider Acre with my Canon Rebel T5i camera to take a few photos of the fine mowing job done yesterday by Nandoh and Bo.

It is hard to believe that it is the same plot of land that had many years of brush growth. I am also amazed at how flat, and pretty much level the lot is. It was hard to tell before with all of the brush that had grown covering it.

I was told that prior owners had kept horses on this lot. I saw no evidence of them. The only things found were a couple of Anasazi Indian pottery shards a couple of months ago. Martin Link believes they are about 1,200 years old. Nandoh and I did find some wood posts that were covered by brush. They looked to be in reasonably good shape. Perhaps those were used to fence in the horses?
