Poor New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham. She's "horrified" that President Trump will be deporting her 2022 voting base.
KOAT reported:
SANTA FE, N.M. —Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham is responding to President Donald Trump's latest order about giving U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents the go-ahead to "remove" millions of undocumented immigrants in the country.
"I'm horrified by his efforts," Lujan Grisham said Wednesday. "This isn't new. This has been an effort to leverage resources for a wall."
On Monday, Trump tweeted that "ICE will begin the process of removing the millions of illegal aliens who have illicitly found their way into the United States."
She's a fine one to complain. She initially denied that there was a border crisis, removed the National Guard from the border and then did an about-face and went to Washington to seek funds for reimbursing localities for costs incurred for managing the influx of illegals.
Now she's upset that illegals will be deported. No doubt she's worried that without votes from illegals, she won't be re-elected.
