Scattered Showers and Thunderstorms?

Above, the ol' homestead. Photo by Armand Vaquer.

It looks like we'll be getting a 30% chance of thunderstorms later today. At least the temperature will be a nice 76° (or thereabouts).

The thunderstorm chance continues through tonight.

Now that we're in June, that means we're in monsoon season through September.

According to the National Weather Service:

Today
Scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly after noon. Mostly sunny, with a high near 76. Southeast wind around 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
Tonight
Scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 9pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 48. South wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
