Thunderstorms...Maybe

Above, storm clouds. Photo by Armand Vaquer.

The past several days have been nice with warmer temperatures. More of the same is forecast for today with some possible thunderstorms coming through. This will be the case for tomorrow as well. It looks like the real start of monsoon season here.

Still, this sure beats the long winter we had. Just when it seemed to be over, then snow showers would hit. One can generally tell it is over by the nighttime temperatures. They have been in the 40s for the past several days.

I am looking forward for some light shows!

From the National Weather Service:

Today
Scattered showers and thunderstorms after noon. Increasing clouds, with a high near 76. South wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
Tonight
Isolated showers and thunderstorms before midnight, then isolated showers and thunderstorms after 3am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 46. South wind around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Wednesday
A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 66. South wind around 5 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
