Since we're in a new month and the summer vacation season begins in a couple of weeks, it is time to take a look at the foreign exchange rate between the U.S. dollar and the Japanese yen for those who are contemplating a vacation trip to Japan.
According to Jiji Press:
Tokyo, June 5 (Jiji Press)--The dollar was firmer above 108.20 yen in Tokyo trading late Wednesday, helped by a rebound in U.S. long-term interest rates in off-hours trading.
At 5 p.m., the dollar stood at 108.24-25 yen, up from 108.04-04 yen at the same time Tuesday.
