It looks like we're in for some freezing (and below freezing) temperatures later this week.
According to the National Weather Service, we'll be getting below-freezing temperatures starting Thursday night. How does 21° grab you?
At least we're not further north.
The National Weather Service posted:
A strong storm system is forecast to dig across the West over the next few days, before reaching the Plains. This powerful system is expected to produce heavy snow from the North-Central Rockies into the Northern Plains. Winter storm warnings/watches are already widespread across the region. Record cold temperatures are also anticipated across the West w/ lows and low maximums mid to late week.
It is a good thing I brought the jade plant into the house. Last winter's cold temperatures almost did it in. I am happy to say that it had revived nicely and thriving with plenty of light.
I am going to take The Beast to a RV dump station and drain out all tanks so there will be nothing inside to freeze. I did this last winter and it worked out just fine.
