Tonight, I spent the evening in downtown Gallup, New Mexico to attend the annual Gallup UFO Film Festival.
The festival runs tonight and tomorrow. More about the Gallup UFO Film Festival tomorrow.
It was a pleasant night, although a bit chilly and windy, with plenty of stars in the night sky. If it wasn't for the chilly temperature and wind, I'd bring out the telescope.
After tonight's portion of the film festival (they had free hot dogs and chips & salsa tonight), I headed to the car.
Now that all eastbound lanes of Interstate 40 are open up the hill just east of Jamestown, I don't have to worry about being stuck in traffic and can venture into Gallup more often.
