It looks like the northeast part of New Mexico will be getting an early blast of winter weather tonight and tomorrow.
Since we're about 120 miles west of Albuquerque (which may get some snow), we should come out of this unscathed.
KOB 4 News reported:
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- People in New Mexico will need to pull out their winter clothes soon.
“We have a significant blast of cold coming for really much of the state,” National Weather Service meteorologist Kerry Jones said.
Jones said some places in northeast New Mexico could see up to six inches of snow Wednesday night into Thursday morning.
But, we should be seeing some winter weather in the northwest in the not-too-distant future.
