Freezing Temperatures Tonight

Above, the windmill in Six Mile Canyon. Photo by Armand Vaquer.

It looks like it'll be a cold night tonight.

The Weather Channel app says it will go down to 18° tonight, whereas the National Weather Service forcast a low of 25°.

I tend to favor The Weather Channel's forecasts.

It has only reached 46° today in Jamestown, but at least we haven't received any snow. I decided against doing any Jeep driving today because, besides having cold temperatures, we also have had strong winds.

If the temperature goes up into the 50s tomorrow, maybe I'll take the Jeep out.

The National Weather Service forecast:

Tonight
Clear, with a low around 25. North wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light and variable in the evening.
Friday
Sunny, with a high near 56. Light and variable wind becoming northwest 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon.
Friday Night
Clear, with a low around 31. North wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
