Today, I managed to take a drive into Six Mile Canyon.
While there, it started to sprinkle, which was my cue to start heading back home since I just cleaned the Jeep and don't want to get it all muddy so soon. We did have some light rain off and on during the afternoon.
Tonight is expected to have rain and snow showers that will continue for (at least) part of the day tomorrow. If there's any snow, it will likely melt before the day is over.
According to the Albuquerque Journal:
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Parts of New Mexico may see freezing temperatures and late-season snow as colder air arrives early this week.
In a news release Sunday evening, the National Weather Service warned that “a big change in the weather is coming as we move through the next 24-48 hours.”
Meteorologists said that the Continental Divide in western New Mexico may see minor travel impacts, but the heaviest snow was likely in the southern Sangre de Cristo Mountains south to the Clines Corners and Vaughn area.
