Seventy Degree Temperatures Coming

Above, in Six Mile Canyon yesterday. Photo by Armand Vaquer.

Warmer weather is headed our way, along with a fire weather watch in effect. We did get some rain last night, which will help a little with it. The fire weather watch is from 2:00 this afternoon to 7:00 this evening.

There has been notices posted on our community bulletin board that open fires in Cibola National Forest are prohibited.

The good news is that we'll be getting temperatures in the 70s (finally) starting Sunday. 60 degree temperatures are comfortable here, but 70s will be even nicer.
