The temperatures in Jamestown are starting to cool down a little from the low 80s we've been enjoying for the past several days.

We will see temperatures in the upper 70s through the weekend, but we have a chance of thunderstorms starting Sunday. Sounds like monsoon season is either starting early or just around the corner.

The forecast by the National Weather Service:

Tonight
Mostly clear, with a low around 40. West wind 10 to 15 mph becoming southeast 5 to 10 mph in the evening.
Saturday
Sunny, with a high near 78. Southwest wind 5 to 15 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon.
Saturday Night
Partly cloudy, with a low around 44. Northwest wind 5 to 15 mph becoming southeast after midnight.
Sunday
A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 76. South wind 5 to 10 mph becoming west 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon.
