Thunderstorms?

The monsoon season is about a month away, but we may be getting a preview as we have a 40% chance of thundershowers today.

It had been sprinkling on and off overnight and it is cloudy outside.

From the National Weather Service:

Today
A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 73. West wind 10 to 20 mph.
Tonight
Mostly clear, with a low around 42. Southwest wind 15 to 20 mph decreasing to 5 to 10 mph after midnight.
Tuesday
Sunny, with a high near 74. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph increasing to 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph.
Tuesday Night
Clear, with a low around 41. Southwest wind 15 to 20 mph decreasing to 10 to 15 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph.
Wednesday
Sunny, with a high near 73. West wind 10 to 15 mph increasing to 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon.
