At the time, Garvey and his first wife Cyndy split up and she started dating composer Marvin Hamlisch. A group of us were at lunch in the lunchroom talking about her being with Hamlisch. Another co-worker, Norma, walked in on the discussion.
She hadn't heard about Cyndy Garvey being with Hamlisch and when she heard our discussion, she exclaimed out loud, "Marvin Hamlisch?! That's like being with Wally Cox!"
Naturally, this was met with laughter from the group.
A resolution to fine California Rep. Adam "Pencilneck" Schiff has been introduced in congress.

Standing up to the reprehensible and basically treasonous lies perpetuated by leading Democrats in Congress, Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla., has introduced a resolution that seeks to impose a $16 million fine on Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., for his unsubstantiated claims of collusion between former President Trump and Russia during the 2016 election.
Luna argues that this amount represents approximately half of the total cost incurred by American taxpayers for the federal investigation into the debunked Trump-Russia collusion narrative, as confirmed by special counsel reports from Robert Mueller and John Durham.
Luna, along with the GOP Conference, asserts that Adam Schiff has flagrantly breached the trust of the American people, abused his positions of authority, and engaged in a consistent pattern of falsehoods.
The resolution states, “By repeatedly telling these falsehoods, Representative Schiff purposely deceived his Committee, Congress, and the American people.”
It further points out that Schiff lent credibility to the controversial Steele dossier, supported a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act warrant against Trump aide Carter Page, and publicly labeled Page as a Russian collaborator.
The $16 million fine represents 50% of what the taxpayers had to pay for Schiff's "investigations".

Rep. Ted Lieu and his fellow California Democratic leaders posed with bottles of Bud Light to mock conservatives boycotting the company, and the internet roasted them for it.
Lieu posted a photo on Twitter of himself and fellow California Democratic Reps. Mark Takano, Judy Chu, and Adam Schiff drinking bottles of Bud Light, with all of their beer bottles' logos directly facing the camera.
"None of these people hold a beer like they've ever held a beer before," conservative radio host and Townhall columnist Derek Hunter wrote.
"Barf," Rep. John Block, R-N.M., tweeted. "[N]ailing the final nail in the coffin for @budlight trash beer."

California Rep. Adam "Pencil Neck" Schiff blew a gasket when he found out that his phone records were obtained during a investigation over national security leaks.
This was something he did to the Trump Administration and he didn't like getting the same treatment.

Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., threw an apoplectic fit the other day when he learned that what he did to others was done to him. There is some perverse irony in all of this. But, of course, Schiff neglected to mention his own hypocrisy.
Schiff’s tantrum was triggered by the recent disclosure that the Trump Department of Justice obtained his phone records, along with another California Democrat, Eric Swalwell and several journalists. Their data was seized pursuant to grand jury subpoenas served on Apple in 2017 and 2018 when Schiff was the ranking Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee and Swalwell was his lackey-in-chief.
This is clearly a case of "you can't take what you dish out."

Decrying a lack of transparency in House Democrats’ impeachment process against President Donald Trump, House Republicans gathered in the basement of the Capitol Wednesday morning to demand entry into proceedings they’ve been barred from thus far. And they reportedly got in.
At a press conference outside the SCIF, dozens of Republican representatives announced that they would seek to gain entry to the secure room — in which the Democrats of the three committees behind the current impeachment push were conducting a deposition — by demanding to be let in as a group.
SCIF stands for Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility. It’s a secure room where classified intelligence and other secret information is discussed. Congress’ SCIF is where much of House Democrats’ investigation has so far taken place and where Republicans not on the investigating committees have not been allowed to enter.
“If behind those doors they intend to overturn the results of an American presidential election, we want to know what’s going on,” Rep. Matt Gaetz said while pointing to the SCIF entrance.Even members of the investigating committees have been barred.

They didn’t even really challenge a single thing Trump said in his speech because they couldn’t! The Drive-Bys had set everybody up that Trump was gonna lie from beginning to end and they had their fact-checks ready to go.
The fact-checks are an embarrassment! They are a hilarious embarrassment. We’re gonna go through some of these fact-checks, which are really not fact-checks because Trump did not make anything up and he didn’t lie about anything. So the fact-checks are just a bunch of journalists presenting their opinions that Trump’s statement, while true, was unnecessarily controversial. It’s garbage like that!
