Michael Reagan Dies At 80

Above, Michael Reagan and Armand circa 1978.

Sad news has been announced.

Michael Reagan, the eldest son of former President Ronald Reagan and Jane Wyman, died at age 80. He died on Sunday, but the news of his passing was released today.

According to ABC News:

Michael Reagan died following a battle with cancer, according to Andrew Coffin, vice president of the Young America's Foundation and director of the Reagan Ranch.

I met Michael Reagan back around 1978. He later introduced me to his father that year at the opening of Citizens For The Republic headquarters, President Reagan's political action committee.

My condolences to the Reagan family.

The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation posted:

Statement by Fred Ryan, Chairman of the Board of The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute on the Death of Michael Reagan

Simi Valley, California – The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute mourns the passing of Michael Reagan, the eldest son of President Ronald Reagan and Jane Wyman, and a steadfast guardian of his father’s legacy.

Michael Reagan lived a life shaped by conviction, purpose, and an abiding devotion to President Reagan’s ideals. A successful author, nationally syndicated radio talk show host, and sought-after public speaker, Michael used his voice to champion freedom, personal responsibility, and the principles that defined his father’s presidency. Yet beyond his professional accomplishments, Michael was, above all, a devoted son and a deeply loyal friend to the Reagan Foundation and Institute.

For decades, Michael remained closely connected to the Reagan Library, faithfully attending each February 6th birthday celebration honoring President Reagan. He was a familiar and beloved presence at Foundation events, welcoming friends, family, and visitors alike. Whether escorting guests through the Library, engaging in heartfelt conversations in the Museum Store, or lingering long after events had concluded, Michael never measured his time—only the meaning of each interaction. He took genuine joy in speaking with visitors who shared their admiration for his father, ensuring that every person felt seen, heard, and connected to President Reagan’s enduring story.

President Reagan reflected on his son in An American Life, writing of Michael, “When I read his book, I had even more of a fatherly pride in Mike than I had had before…. he was happy and at peace with himself.” Those words speak not only to a father’s pride, but to the quiet strength and authenticity with which Michael lived his life.

Michael Reagan’s passing is a profound loss to all who knew him and to the millions who valued his dedication to preserving President Reagan’s legacy. His presence, warmth, and unwavering commitment will be deeply missed at the Reagan Library and far beyond its walls.

The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute extends its heartfelt condolences to Colleen, Cameron, Ashley, and the entire Reagan family. Our thoughts and prayers are with them during this time of sorrow.

Biden's Nurse?!

His Fraudulency Joe Biden said something that can only be described as weird at best.

He is, as Clint Eastwood would say, "Slightly advanced!"

Prince Harry: From Prince To Ass

A couple of minutes ago, I spotted this tweet on Twitter by Michael Reagan:

Prince Harry has already pissed off the United Kingdom, now he seems to be trying to piss off Americans. Reagan just said it best.

Prince Harry made his comments in his book, "Spare".

Leftist Extremists End Griffith Park Pony Rides

Above, a rider enjoying a pony ride. Photo by Griffith Park Pony Rides.

"I would love to put a saddle on an activist & let the children ride their asses all day...If you are one of those F off..." - Michael Reagan.

The leftist extremists and the pussy politicians on the Los Angeles City Council have ended another Los Angeles institution that people enjoyed: the pony rides at Griffith Park.

According to Steve Weeks, the owner/operator of the pony rides, wrote:

NEWS FROM GRIFFITH PARK PONY RIDES

It is with much sadness that I announce that Griffith Park Pony Rides will be ceasing operations December 21, 2022. I have received a letter from Los Angeles Recreation and Parks stating that our contract will not be renewed. After 74 years serving the children and parents of Los Angeles, this iconic institution will be closed forever by order of the City.

You have all followed our fight against these few radical animal rights activists. Despite our year long fight to answer the untrue statements of these individuals, our efforts were not heard. This was the city decision and not the pony rides choice. I will post more at a later date giving greater details. I just wanted you to hear the news from me. This group has been loyal friends of the pony rides and I thank you.  In the days ahead I will be attempting to find forever homes for our many ponies. I am determined to find homes for our ponies with qualified horsepeople who will care as much about our ponies as I do. If you are interested in providing a home please message me. More to come.

Steve Weeks

This is typical of leftist extremists. They are unhappy people who have nothing better to do than to ruin the enjoyment of life by others.

Biden Tells Right-Wing "You Need An F-15"

As each day passes by, His Fraudulency shows the world how much of a moron he is.

He has always been a dick, but his senility is making that even more pronounced. He's just an idiot.

The latest from Human Events:

Speaking from Pennsylvania on Tuesday, President Joe Biden issued a message for “brave right-wing Americans,” saying that they “need something a little more than a gun” to fight against the United States, giving the example of an F-15 fighter jet as something to use instead.

“And for those brave right-wing Americans who say it’s all about keeping Americans independent and safe, you want to fight against the country? You need an F-15, you need something a little more than a gun,” Biden told the crowd, referring to the second amendment.

And he (supposedly) plans to run for re-election?!

Michael Reagan Now Backs Trump In 2024!

Above, Michael Reagan and yours truly in the 1970s.

President Reagan's eldest son Michael has been unsupportive of former President Donald Trump for another run for the White House in 2024.

But all that changed after Biden's secret police, known as the FBI, made a raid on Trump's Mara-A-Lago estate last evening.

Reagan posted:

It appears that Biden's stupid move is backfiring. The White House is now claiming they knew nothing about the raid beforehand. What a load of bullsh*t!

Reagan also posted:

Yes, not a new tactic, which is not surprising since Democrats are vile scum.

By the way, Fox News reported that the judge who greenlighted the raid donated thousands of dollars to Barack Obama!

The Democrats Open Their January 6 Circus On TV

The lunatic Democrats have begun their televised hearings on the January 6, 2021 Capitol Riot yesterday.

For the most part, the hearings have only produced yawns among the public. It is a fabricated "kangaroo court" that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi cooked up.

Michael Reagan summed up these hearings correctly as follows:

FYI: Our Democracy was never in peril on Jan 6…Anyone who believes that is a fool.

On the humorous side, the Babylon Bee hit the bullseye with a nice satirical article yesterday.

It begins with:

WASHINGTON, D.C.—The nation is abuzz with anticipation of the televised January 6 Committee hearing making its prime time debut at 8 p.m. ET. To top off the excitement of the House select committee's investigation, producers of the star-studded extravaganza have announced that Miley Cyrus will be the featured performer during the hearing's halftime show.

Other performers during the bedazzling spectacle will include Neil Young, Bruce Springsteen, Demi Lovato, and the ghost of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Bob Saget: When and Where Stricken Makes A Big Difference

Tinseltown is shocked over the report of comedian/actor Bob Saget being found dead in his hotel room in Orlando, Florida.

According to police, there were no indications of foul play or drugs at the scene. This leads me to think that Saget died suddenly of natural causes, such as from a heart attack, stroke, aneurysm, blood clot or anything else that could cause sudden death.

Prior to this, Saget seemed to be a healthy 65-year-old man. But appearances, especially at that age, can be deceiving. It is likely that Saget had no idea that something was critically wrong with him. Who knows what goes on inside one's body. I can only go by my own experience three and a half years ago.

Back then, I had no health issues and was an active 64-year-old. But while attending the Wells Fun Run car show and rally in Wells, Nevada, I was stricken by a heart attack at a restaurant. Luckily, I was with friends at the time and fast action saved my life. I ended up getting two stents in a coronary artery that became blocked. Perhaps this is what happened to Saget. Unfortunately for him (I am speculating), he was stricken while alone and possibly asleep (if he was found in bed). Had he been with people, he quite possibly could have been saved as I was. We won't know until the Orlando medical examiner completes the autopsy on Saget's body.

It is weird how so many celebrities have died in hotel rooms due to various causes. Janis Joplin, John Belushi, Don Drysdale and William Holden come immediately to mind.

It all boils down to when and where one is stricken. It can, and does, happen to anyone. In my case, I consider myself very lucky.

Brian Laundrie In Hiding...Or Dead

Above, Brian Laundrie from the Moab police body cam.

Michael Reagan, the son of "The Gipper", Tweeted:

Gabbys boyfriend is probably also dead… His family is a shit show

I opined the same the other day and I agree with his view of the Laundrie family. This raised a question in my mind a little while ago: Does Brian Laundrie own guns and are any of them missing? So far, Laundrie has not been found and the authorities have stopped searching the area he was supposedly was backpacking in. The Laundrie family has been less than cooperative with investigators despite pleas from the Petito family. That certainly sends up quite a number of red flags.

According to Fox 13 in Tampa Bay:

Laundrie was named a person of interest in the case earlier this week. However, despite pleading with the family and their attorney, investigators had not heard from the Laundrie family at all until Friday night, when they told investigators their son had actually been missing since Tuesday. Investigators spent two hours at the Laundrie home collecting things they say may help them find Brian and hopefully get answers. An attorney for the Petito family says Brian is not missing but rather on the run, adding that the Laundrie family’s request to have the North Port police look for their son but not for Gabby is "reprehensible and hypocritical."

Investigators are asking the public for help in locating Laundrie. They say he is a white male, 5-foot-8 and weighing 160 pounds. He has brown eyes, very short brown hair, trimmed facial hair, and was last seen wearing a hiking bag with a waist strap. Anyone with information is asked to call 1-800-Call-FBI.

With his face plastered all over the place on social media, he won't be able to hide for very long. If he's dead, I guess they'll have to watch for buzzards in the area.

40th Anniversary of the Reagan Assassination Attempt

Above, the site of the shooting at the Washington Hilton. Photo by Armand Vaquer.

While doing some reading on Twitter, I came across a Tweet by Michael Reagan who said that he was invited to participate in a Fox Nation special on the 40th anniversary of the assassination attempt on President Reagan.

It is hard to believe that I has been that long (March 30, 1981) and I remember exactly how I got the news.

A year later, during a trip to Washington, D. C. to attend a White House reception for the 1980 California Delegation to the GOP National Convention, I visited the spot where the shooting took place at the Washington Hilton.

40 years. Man, does that make one feel old!

New York COVID Cases

It has been reported that new cases of COVID-19 in New York are mainly originating from private indoor gatherings. But the lame-brain governor closed restaurants.

Gov. "Malevolent Michelle" Lujan Grisham should take heed of this in New Mexico.

Biden Staffer: Cops "Worse Than Pigs"

It appears the Biden campaign stepped into it.

Unless "Slow Joe" denounces it and fires the staffer, his campaign will be in deeper doo-doo than it is already. It'll show that he is not pro-law & order and is on the side of ANTIFA and BLM.

Michael Reagan Discusses California's Insane Ammunition Law

Above, Michael Reagan (left) and yours truly in the 1970s.

If one is a sportsman, gun owner or who needs ammunition for personal protection, the lunatics in California (politicians and voters) have made that quite complicated.

Recently, the question came up about buying ammunition from Arizona or Nevada and bringing it into California. California enacted a law barring the practice of making ammunition purchases out-of-state and bringing it into California.

Michael Reagan, the eldest son of President Ronald Reagan penned an article last summer discussing this very thing.

His article appeared in the Arizona Range News.

Some snippets (highlights are mine):
Dove season opens in California and across the United States on Sept. 1.
For as long as I can remember, all I had to do when dove season rolled around each year was oil my 1970s-vintage shotgun, buy a case or two of shells at the nearby Big Five sports store and drive toward the Arizona border with my hunting buddies for a few happy days of shooting.
But thanks to a proposition approved by 63 percent of Californians in 2016 and the leftist Democrat lawmakers in Sacramento who’ve been wrecking the state for 40 years, dove season this year will be much more complicated.
A new state law aimed at reducing gun violence took effect July 1 that requires anyone who buys ammo for any kind of gun to first pass a state background check
After I pass my $19 background check, I have 30 days to buy the shotgun shells I’ll need. If after 30 days I need to buy more shells, I’ll have to pay another $19 for another background check.
According to the new law, the only place I’d be allowed to buy more shells is at the same sports store where I passed my background check — which would be hundreds of miles away.
A person from a less liberal state like Pennsylvania might ask, “Why don’t you just go out of state to Arizona and buy your shells there?”
It’s a perfectly sensible idea — except that if you are caught bringing more than 90 rounds of ammo into California, you can go to jail
And don’t think you are free to order your ammunition online. Manufacturers aren’t allowed to ship directly to individuals in the state, just to licensed ammunition vendors like Big Five.
The end result of all this anti-ammo-madness is that, somehow, on Sept. 1, all of us will be breaking the law at some point by sharing shotgun shells.
It’s the usual California political story — a bad law written by liberals that will do no good and only turn law-abiding citizens like me and my pals into criminals.
Oh, and there’s another effect of the ammo law that my dog could have predicted — a shortage of ammunition in California.
This is another great reason why I am glad that I moved out of Commiefornia.
